I would love to have tea with my grandmother (Mudder) who has been gone for 11 years now. She also had a beautiful collection of tea cups and saucers, which I am fortunate enough to have now. Mudder was a good old Lipton lady!

Wonderful post. I love Zhena's Gypsy Tea. My favorite is the Raspberry Earl Grey. To answer your question, I would have Genmaicha green tea with my grandfather, who passed away. What a wonderful notion. Thank you.

What a lovely question...hmmm...this will seem rather an odd answer: my father-in-law. He passed away 14 years ago and was the first gentleman, true gentleman that I had ever met (other than my own father) and he was an avid tea drinker. I think I'd set the table with earthenware mugs, daffodils and daisies, scones and jam and a lovely Earl Grey from G.H. Ford Tea Company. Earl Grey is not my favorite, but it would suit him just fine.

Thanks for wandering onto my blog...it is a pleasure to meet another tea lover!

Reading this post made me teary eyed. I would have tea with my maternal grandmother. Growing up I spent every possible moment with her. She was a second mother to me. Sadly, she died very young at 69. I have always missed her. If given the chance, I would have tea with "Memaw" and I think we would drink Peppermint Tea by Harney and Sons. Memaw was full of life and energized those around her - Peppermint Tea makes me think of her.

That is a wonderful sentiment. Green Tea with Pomegranate would look pretty in your great-grandmother's tea cup as well. Julie for Bigelow Tea

funny...as soon as i saw your twitter I said "grandma" and then I saw the post title...hee hee...

I would have tea with Grandma C. (mostly because I never saw her drinking coffee). A simple cinnamon tea is always wonderful in crisp mornings/evenings in the mountains where I grew up.

I would bake madeleines (which I'm sure she never saw in her life time having lived in a secluded town in Mexico) and I would have asked her sooooo many things...

sigh...she passed away almost 21 years ago...
